Our Goal, Mission and Objectives

Goal

Thailand Sports Center for Blind Athletes has the goal to build a sports facilities specifically designed for Thailand’s national blind sports team, qualified for the Paralympic Games, the Asian Para Games, and the ASEAN Para Games, blind athletes, individuals with visual impairments and their families. The center provides sports, health, fitness and recreation programs and serves as a venue for local, national, and international adaptive sporting events. adaptive sporting events.

Thailand Sports Center for Blind Athletes provides and promotes sports, physical activity and broad-ranging facilities and programs to blind athletes and, individuals with visual impairments, that designed to empower them to achieve their dreams in sports and independent lifestyles within the community.

Objectives

To maximize sports and living skills

of blind athletes and individualswith visual impairments to make the most of their abilities to achieve their goals and self-sufficiency lifestyle.

To guide and support

the attainment of the equal opportunity, full integration, rights, and responsibility of blind, and individuals with visual impairments to be the decision-makers in their own life.

To include the full participation of blind athletes,

and individuals with visual impairments in the sports, recreational, cultural, social and economical life of the community.

To facilitate

implementation of accessibility and safety throughout the facilities of the center.

To promote the involvement of blind athletes and individuals

with visual impairments in the decision-making process of the center programs and services.
